Improbable Egg Page

Stuff about eggs your mother never taught you

Egghead eh?

You thought you knew your eggs from your bryozoa did you? Lets see.

Here are three egg related pictures numbered 1, 2 & 3. Your task is to match them with animals A, B and C (which I have given slightly devious, but identifiable names. The animals are the:

  1. Elephant,                          Clue: Don't think about elephants
  2. Butterfly,                          Clue: Think about butterflies of the sea
  3. Head-foot.                       Clue: Think Latin.

Here are the pictures ...

1.   Clusters of eggs about 50 mm long

2. This thing is about 150 mm (6 inches) long

3. A rosette about 50 mm (2 inches) across

OK, jot down a little table with your answers before moving on.

Hey, I trust you! Its just that other people have been known to make up corroborative detail to give an air of verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative. Err, lie.

Right, fingers crossed then ... now check the egg answers. (Though be warned - if you haven't waited for the pictures to show, then checking the answers will cause smoke to come out of your computer for thirty seconds. Remember, computers need all their smoke to stay inside them - they work better that way.)
